Nope! Our algorithms were built to build queues of rides for each online driver. For example, we could have two drivers online servicing 10 outstanding rides requests. Each of those ride requests will get a calculated wait time because our system is deciding which rides to assign to which driver, and the order each will be completed.
Yes. We’ll create a profile for each vehicle including things like type of vehicle and passenger capacity. This allows the system to assign and group rides without going over capacity for the vehicle.
Ride sharing can be configured to meet the needs of your operation. For example, we can limit how far out of the way we’ll go to pick up another group, or only fill the vehicle to 50% capacity if the trip is shared by multiple parties. Shared rides can also be turned off entirely if you wish to provide private rides.
Absolutely. Many of our clients offer both options for ride requests. Dispatchers use the dashboard to enter rides into the same system that is dispatching app requested rides. The system will calculate a wait time for the dispatcher and automatically assign the ride to the right driver.
